1 in 3 children contacted by strangers online; 40% approached by someone attempting to groom them (2026). Unknown adult contacts via gaming DMs and group chats are the most common entry point.
Cyberbullying via gaming platforms
Targeted harassment through in-game chat on Roblox, Fortnite, and others. 75% of multiplayer players reported hate or harassment in 2026. AI-generated abuse reports climbed 1,325% in 2024–25 — from 4,700 to 67,000 cases.

AI deepfake images of minors
