Last updated September 23, 2026. Everything below applies to MochiMind, the study planner app built by ArmorBee.
Everything a student enters into MochiMind stays on their own device. There's no account, no server, and no way for us to see, receive, or share that data — because it never leaves the phone.
Subjects, classes, exams, tasks, study sessions, weekly activities (tuition, music, sport, and the like), notes, grades, and any photos a user attaches are all saved in a private database stored locally on the device. MochiMind has no user accounts and no sign-in.
MochiMind does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data with us or anyone else. There is no backend server for the app to talk to. We, the developer, cannot access this data at any time, under any circumstance.
MochiMind can schedule local reminders on-device — for example, ahead of an upcoming exam or task deadline. These are created and delivered entirely on-device using the operating system's own notification scheduler; no data is sent anywhere to generate them.
If a user attaches a photo — say, of finished homework — MochiMind asks the device for camera or photo library permission at that moment, and the photo is saved locally alongside the rest of their data. It is never uploaded by the app.
MochiMind can hand a file, like a calendar export or a photo, to the device's own share sheet — only when the user chooses to share something. Where that goes afterward is entirely up to them and the app they pick, such as Mail or WhatsApp; MochiMind itself never transmits it anywhere on its own.
MochiMind does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — because it does not collect or transmit information from anyone at all. All data, for every user regardless of age, stays only on the device it was entered on.
Since everything lives only in local storage, a user can permanently delete it at any time from Settings → Reset all data inside the app, or simply by uninstalling MochiMind. There is no server copy to separately request deletion of.
